The Circular Economy for Public

Transport Knowledge Platform

is a comprehensive, centralized knowledge repository designed to increase knowledge and capacities of stakeholders in the public transport sector to identify circularity gaps as well as ways to close these gaps in own organisations through learning, knowledge exchange, liaison with lifecycle actors and innovation.

The dynamic platform serves at driving transformational change and accelerating the adoption of circular economy principles to create more resilient, efficient, and sustainable public transportation systems for the future.

Concretely, it aims at providing different types of resources in a one-stop shop that is easy-to use by different life-cycle actor types, decision takers and the wider public.

The resources cover a wide spectrum of circular economy aspects the partners in the CE4CE Interreg Central Europe project are working on, focusing on four main categories:

Infrastructure, Vehicles, Energy and Governance.

The platform facilitates the knowledge transfer and exchange by mirroring selected lifecycle value chains and allowing learning and cooperation through an integrated second-hand market and match-making tool for information-sharing.
